ALKEBULAN???????????? I no longer use this name and i will forever say AFRICA ALKEBULAN MOORS and AFRICA July 29, 2013 at 2:14pm IS “AL-KEBULAN” THE INDIGENOUS NAME FOR AFRICA? AL-KEBULAN is no more the original word for Africa than AL-ANDULAS is the original word for Spain. The fact that the term has the prefix AL- is indicative that this term is of Arabic origin. AL-KEBULAN is an Arabic word that that originated with and was adopted by the Arabized African Moors for the North East region of what is now Africa. It was never used for the whole continent. Just the Nile Valley region and parts around the Sahara. The Moors occupied northern Africa and southern Europe from approximately the 7th to the 15th century A.D. AL-KEBU-LAN, which is ancient Arabic, means The Land of the Blacks. Cheikh Anta Diop never mentions the term AL-KEBULAN as a name for Africa even once. I have never seen in the writings of Nkrumah, Sekou Toure, Cabral, Fanon, or even DuBois the name AL-KEBULAN to refer to the entire African continent. AL-KEBULAN is Arabic. While Arabic is a descendant of the Shemetic languages of Africa, Alkebulan is not an ancient African term. ARE THE MOORS INDIGENOUS BLACK AFRICANS? Moors were Arabized Africans. Diop says, The moors are Arabs, recent arrivals from Yemen, having come during the Islamic invasions. The African Origin of Civilization, p.200 According to Noble Drew Ali, African Americans are Asiatics and Moors and for that reason the natural religion of the black man was Islamic not Christianity. (See Myth making in the African American Muslim Context: The Moorish Science Temple, the Nation of Islam, and the American Society of Muslims.) Realize, the idea that Al-kebulan was Africa and that Moors were Africans is a spin off of the Hamitic Hypothesis. The arabization, the semitization, the hamitization of Africa continues until this day, because of the negative image that white supremacy has inflicted upon black Africans and the resultant negative self image that Africans have of themselves. IS “AFRICA” NAMED AFTER SCIPIO AFRICANUS? Africa was not named after Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus any more than Asia was named after his younger brother Lucius Cornelius Scipio Asiaticus. Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus (236–183 BC), also known as Scipio the African, Scipio the Elder, and Scipio the Great was a general in the Second Punic War and statesman of the Roman Republic. He was best known for defeating Hannibal at the final battle of the Second Punic War at Zama, a feat that earned him the agnomen Africanus. In other words he was given the name for the area he conquered. The area he conquered was not named after him. Lucius Cornelius Scipio Asiaticus was named Asiaticus for his victory over Antiochus III. Upon his return to Rome, he celebrated a full triumph and requested the title Asiaticus to signify his conquest of Western Asia Minor. In other words like his older brother he was given the name for the area he conquered. The area he conquered was not named after him. Sidney Davis 7/29/13 This is the most etymologically correct and historically accurate explanation of the word Afrika. The first word, Afu , means House. Ra carries the meaning God manifested in the Sun--The Creator. We are the people of the Sun, as we viewed ourselves in Kemet (Egypt) in particular. The third word, Ka carries the meaning of soul or spirit. When you put it all together you get the word, Afu-Ra-Ka. The meaning of Afu-Ra-Ka is the house for the soul or spirit of the Divine Creator. This word in this form refers to the land of the Divine Creator. The Africans looked at their land as belonging to and created by the Divine Creator. Afu-Ra-Kani, a word derived from Afu-Ra-Ka, also carries the meaning of house for the soul or spirit of the Divine Creator, but in reference to the human being, male in particular. The plural form is Afu-Ra-Kanu, which refers to all males as houses for the spirit or soul of the Divine Creator. Afu-Rait-Kaitnit is the female house for the soul or spirit of the Divine Creator. The plural form is Afu-Rait-Kaitnut, which refers to all females as houses for the soul or spirit of the Divine Creator. This is the philosophy of the Afu-Ra-Kans, (Africans). The Afu-Ra-Kans, (Africans), believed that all human beings were the carriers and houses for the soul and spirit of the Divine Creator of house. The second word Ra, is one of the names of the Divine Creator in Africa in general.
