~Trial And Error~ Wasted too many poems on you, And I swear this will be the last, You just need to know what you put me through. Bet youre having a blast. When someone like me speaks the truth, I assumed everyone did the same. I wasted all too much of my youth, Trying to figure out whos to blame. And I realize now that I dont care. I cared too much, whered it get me? Blind faith in others who were never there. But all is fair in love and war, Just prepare for the failures youll find. Makes it hard to put trust in people anymore. I used to think love was exposing my back, And waiting for it to get stabbed. It took me a while to realize that, That is not love. Love is accepting mistakes and giving trust. Love has nothing to do with lust. Love is love and hate is hate. The two are not one and the same. It took someone to show me that. And Im so glad he did. For some reason If things dont last, At least Ill know what love is. So boy that broke me, goodbye, Im through. I refuse to waste my poems on you. Now I say hello to a love thats mine.
