Last couple of days I have watched: Gravity- 7/10 Enjoyed it more than I thought. Dont really have anything to add to existing reviews, but I can confirm magnificent visuals and a pretty solid performance from Bullock and Clooney. Few gripes were lack of much character development (despite there being time; film is only 1 hr 30) and a few Hollywood moments which I felt were unnecessary given the general tone of the film. Lincoln- 8/10 Been meaning to watch this for ages now. Daniel Day-Lewis can literally do no wrong can he? You know that if he has chosen to take part in a film, youre in for a good watch and this is no exception really. Tommy Lee Jones is awesome as ever, and there are a number of other faces you will recognise too. Its a long old slog, but if you are interested in US history this is a must see.
