ALL DIRECTIONS MONTH- It seems every decade since the 60s, George Clinton has found a way to reinvent himself & his groups. From the leader of a Doo Wop group (The Parliaments) in the late 50s, authentic Acid Funk/Rock (Funkadelic) in the late 60s to early 70s,glam ,stadium Funk & Roll in the mid & late 70s......Techno & hip hop meets Funk/ rock in the 80s & so on. & as much as he listened to what was happening,p-funk has always remained in their own musical circumference . This was from The Urban Dance Floor Gorillas album by the P-Funk Allstars in the early 80s.
