ALL HANDS ON DECK, OWTers! Kawaiikon is coming in less than 6 months. Are we ready? HELL NAH! Do we want to be ready? HELL YEA! So the OWT will be going into its second year around the time of Kon and we want to host one or two panels! Were gonna need all the help we can get. Our panels will include an exciting dance routine, introductions, Q&A, an exercise demo that everyone can do, cosplays, and LOUD NOISES! This is going to be our very first pitch to the local community about who we are and what we can do! If you have any ideas, please feel free to suggest! The admins and I just had a group meeting and we are VERY VERY EXCITED about this! We will be hosting another meeting soon for those interested in working with us. Second, I would like to inform our members that we would like to extend our helping hands to our community and aina. On top of being a healthy support group where you can indulge in your hobbies, we are also a group that will proudly be doing community service. We have brainstormed some ideas already such as hike clean ups and graffiti removals and if you have other ideas, we want to hear it. This is idea is partially to help spread our name around but mainly to keep the places that we love to exercise in clean. Lastly, WE WANT TEAM SHIRTS! Were still deciding on methods of how we will get these shirts such as through carwash fundraisers. We cant have a team shirt/tanktop/kilt/cape/hoodie without ideas so if you have ideas and drawings, send it to us! Were thinking about hosting a kickstarter campaign to aid us as well. Next year will be the year that we start trying to broadcast and advertise ourselves but we can start early.
