This week Dunedin is hosting the World U20 Ice-hockey Championship with Ben Roth and Thomas Carson-Pratt being members of the NZ Team. We wish the team, and in particular the two local players, all the best. At the weekend the Under 18 coxed eight (rowing in North End colours) were placed first in their race at the Canterbury Championships held at Ruataniwha. Unfortunately the weather was not conducive to a lot of racing and the results were declared on times recorded in the heats. Our crews are looking ahead to their busiest period with the South Island and Maadi Cup events in the near future.
