ALL NATIONS EVANGELISTIC WORLD OUTREACH ( a.k.a End- time Global Soul Winners) Motto: Holiness The law Of His House- Ezekiel 43:12 A CALL TO RETURN TO THE LORDS LOVING EMBRACE And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my fathers have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.LUKE 15:17-21 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Matthew 11:28-30 COMMENTARY: Luke 15:11-32 The biblical narrative of the prodigal son which Jesus gave in the fifteenth chapter of the Gospel of Luke, represents three sets of people God interestingly wants to rescue from the painful and strangulating captivity and bondage of satan. These include: 1) unrepentant sinners who have not known the ways of God and thus devoid of Gods salvation and mercy. 2) the backsliding christian believers who have tasted the mercy and grace of God but frustrated this most treasured grace and as a result are on the brink of losing their salvation or have totally lost their salvation. 3) Finally the backsliding Christian ministers (pastors, evangelists, apostles, prophets, and other subsidiary church workers who have disgraced/frustrated the grace and the oil(anointing) they had received from the Lord. God, unlike some people think, is a merciful being who wants all to truly repent and return to His saving and unfailing grace. He wants us to honor and treasure His unfailing grace which He lavished on us when we got saved and not to frustrate or dishonor it. Friends, we can wisely draw some positive lessons from this narrative our Lord and master gave. Some of these lessons or insights include: 1) God loves repentant and humble sinners who, realizing their mistakes and helplessness decides to radically turn away from sin and its attendant worldly and canal desires/lusts. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. Ezekiel 18:31-32 Scriptural search: proverbs 28:13, 1 john 1:9, Luke 15:22-24 2) God loves sinners but hates their sins and that was why He sent His only treasured son Jesus, Christ, to rescue us sinners from the deadly and corrosive effects of sin. Although God loves the sinner because He originally created Him in His image and likeness but He will not compromise His Holy and Heavenly standards with sinful or worldly lifestyles. He confronts sin headlong and robustly while delivering man from the strangulating bondage of the enemy. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. John 8:10-11 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 5:30-32 3) God wants all saved, properly trained and fully integrated into His loving, Joyful, prosperous and Holy Heaven (Kingdom). Unlike men who desire some saved and others punished, God wants everyone to be free joyful and Holy so that we can properly reflect His Glory and represent Him faithfully and effectively. From this biblical narrative Jesus gave we are reminded that just like the elder brother of the prodigal son protested his renewed freedom and joy of his restored salvation, some preachers of today, preach to condemn and thus send people to hell. Be informed that God has never called or appointed anyone or group of people with the business of judging and settling the eternal destinies of men and women God has created in His image and Glory. It is pertinent to stress that the Greek word to preach, haggios, means to proclaim, to announce or to declare a set of information or news to the general public. It is not the duty of the announcer to enforce the penalties for breaking the declarations/decrees but the relevant authorities. Our duty as preachers and messengers of God is to faithfully declare/announce the good news of the Kingdom of God, which is what the Gospel represents. It is not our duty to judge and select people headed for hell or Heaven. Let us not act like the elder brother of the prodigal son in Luke chapter fifteen (Luke 15:25-32) But let us be humble, compassionate, loving and ready to partner with God in saving, properly training and bringing in lost and helpless souls into His welcoming kingdom of Glory and Holiness. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.Ezekiel 18:23-24,31-32 scriptural search: 1 timothy 2:1-4, 2 peter 3:9, Mark 8:2-3 4) God is willing, ready and waiting patiently to welcome, to transform, to reshape/restructure us from the deformed state of sin to the lovely state of Righteousness/Holiness.God wants us to take off the garments of sin and worldliness so that He can beautify us with the garments of Grace, salvation, deliverance, love, Holiness and prosperity. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:16-18 Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Ecclesiastes 9:8 Scriptural search: Luke 15:22-24, Matthew 23:25-26, Isaiah 52:11, 1 Corinthians 7:1, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 1 peter 1:14-19 5) God values/treasures the life of a sinner so dearly and so has sent forth His end-time laborers into His vine yard and the entire world to dig and comb every hill, valley and mountain of worldliness and sin/unrighteousness in order to fish and hunt for lost and helpless souls(sinners) held captive by satan and his demonic agents (messengers). Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. Jeremiah 16:16-17 Are you called of God into this end-time harvest, please dont disappoint God but rather try at all cost to faithfully discharge the portion of this end-time stewardship committed into your hands. Brethren, our God is a relational being who loves Holy fellowship with man. The more He can get willing, yielded and sanctified vessels (people) to relate with, the more the divine joy in His Holy Heaven increases. And that explains why He is calling, training, fully equipping and sending out more workers in His vine yard for the end-time harvests. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my ,spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. Joel 2:28-30 May we all, sinners, backsliding Christian believers and ministers alike, who have frustrated the much coveted grace of God in our lives come quickly to our senses and truly repent and return to the ever welcoming and loving arms of a merciful savior and Lord. He is waiting graciously to welcome us and restore us fully if we take a life changing decision now. Please take advantage of this priceless gesture while the hour of grace lasts. There may be no more second chance, harden not your heart as you ready this message. Please make all efforts to gain entrance into His glorious kingdom of heaven. Remain rapture-ready always In Jesus precious Name Amen. God bless you all. Pastor Martins Okonkwo AMAZING GRACE Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me.
