ALL OUT FOR JESUS DEVOTIONAL #allout4Jesus Friday, 17th October by Pastor Andrew Pappoe Jnr Be careful what you say to people and what people say to you 2Kings 4:3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. What we say to people or the words we hear can either activate and release God-given potential within us or sow evil intentions in us. The woman in this text was in great debt and in crisis. Yet the words spoken to her by the prophet Elisha unleashed solution and untapped capacity in her own house. The solution was within her, by her and in her house. Within her house was the capacity to increase yet a word was needed to activate the little to become much. We should believe that God would send us a word to change our situation. God can change your situation in the twinkling of an eye. She had not seen multiplication yet she obeyed the word and went for vessels. Vessels here stand for increase in capacity and taking steps of faith. Expand your understanding and intake of the word. Read, sow into spiritual things and yourself, plan bigger, be eager to know this God who can do much more beyond the system, do something extra and anticipate a change. Go, borrow vessels, oil is about to multiply. Meditate on these and say a prayer. What will be your prayer? Send me your commentary too.
