***ALL PUPPY AND ON THE PUBLIC LIST*** A volunteer writes: Ellie is a sweet and adorable puppy girl, only six months of age. She is one pretty sight in her kennel, a young damsel ready to go to the ball in her black and white dress. She has a lovely dark headpiece, tear drops eyes lined with mascara and a most gentle face asking:will you take me out? Of course, little girl….Ellie is a dream on the leash. She does eliminate as we reach the street but there is no guarantee that such a young girl is fully house trained. She is all happy to meet other dogs and even playbows timidly to one. She is so easy going, well mannered, a no fuss type of dog who has so much to give and so little to ask… Ellie sits on command and takes treats gently from my hand. She is very friendly and sociable and a wonderful lap dog who relishes hugs and caresses. Little Ellie was found as a stray and i bet i know why. She does indeed suffer from some type of dermatitis that will need veterinary attention and a good diet. Ellie is worth a million times the effort put into her care. She is a delightful and affectionate youngster who will bring love and fun into the life of her new master or family. Ellie is at the Manhattan shelter…waiting patiently for you.
