ALL REQUESTED TO COME AND SHARE IN PUBLIC INTEREST....On occasion of world mental health on 10th October day Mariam Wellness centre, Hyderpora and Childline Srinagar will hold a joint rally aimed at giving awareness to people on mental health of children and old, the two most vulnerable groups. The participants will include teachers, members from community, social workers, doctors and psychologists. The rally will start from Hyderpoa and end at press enclave, during the march participants will distribute posters in Urdu and English to people enroute, the posters were specially written for common masses in which information about depression, dementia, drug addiction and suicides is given in simple language. During the last 2 decades there has been a phenomenal increase in psychiatric problems of children, older adolescences and old, due to lack of resources at central level and periphery most of the cases remain untreated. The participants will vow to end stigmatization and isolation of such people and fight for their rights.ALL ARE REQUESTED TO PARTICIPATE.
