“ALL THESE ANOINTING-ANOITING CHORUS BLACKMAILS ON OBUH TO INCITE THE PUBLIC/PARTY/GOVT OF THE DAY TO STOP HIM WON’T WORK AS WE ALL ARE GUILTY IF WE NOW GO BY ANOINTING.” I have been observing lately as I watch and read the tempo of our political system as well as campaign methodologies and I can’t but pause a little seeing our abnormal ways of reasoning especially at coining a word to destroy fellows perceived to be better, stronger, powerful, more beneficial than YOU/YOUR BOSS or what have you. It has kept me in the dark moment of laughter and amusement as I perceived we are still the problem of ourselves. Looking at the proper definition of the VERB word ‘ANOINT’ from the OXFORD ADVANCED LEARNERS DICTIONARY, It means “TO PUT OIL OR WATER ON SOMEBODY’S HEAD AS PART OF A RELIGIOUS CEREMONY: [VN], THE PRIEST ANOINTED HER WITH OIL. This to me and many is the proper definition of the word ANOINT and with this, I am beginning to think more deep that we as a people just talk because it is cheap and so therefore, we must say it any how it is so long we are not part. But wait! come to think of it, Who were the propounders of this word ‘ANOINTED’ even? The last I checked, I still have not found where and when SIR TONY OBUH’S supporters from all strata used the word in favor of HIS CANDIDACY. I still have not found where any ordinary MAN be it a PRESIDENT or GOVERNOR has POURED an OIL or WATER on TONY’S HEAD regarding his ambition except Priest in the church if at all. These words were only seen and heard from yesterdays, today political enemies but tomorrow’s political friends of SIR TONY OBUH and not the other way round as we are well guided by campaign ETHICS & NORMS and understands no one knows it all hence, a level playing field must be given to all. The question now is; What do we gain from killing peoples image unnecessarily? What do we stand to achieve by trying to STOP those better than us? Must WE scatter once WE can’t get it ourself? Must WE go to WAR because it is not ME? This and so many WE must sit down in our various bedrooms tonight to think over before coming out next time to exhibit ethical madness before the eyes of the general public because no matter how hard we try, it will never work on OBUH once GOD says is HIM. Finally, ‘ANOINTING is used in religion and not in politics but if we now decide to apply it now because it is NIGERIA or DELTA rather as WE do not CARRY LAST at all in anything we do then, I put it to all of us that we are all GUILTY of it because you have anointed as well. The candidate you stands for, has been anointed as well by you, I also can be said to have anointed mine too since it is anointing-anointing we understands better. At this juncture, I urge you to stop seeing yourself as 4th class citizen of DELTA over anointed because you have already anointed your choice before killing others and so therefore anointing is not exclusive to any as all must now anoint no matter whom they chose to anoint. Once again, We appeal to all your conscience and moral understanding to support the SIR TONY’S DREAM of becoming our next GOVERNOR not by your ANOINTING as a word as we don’t need it except that ANOINTING THAT COMES FROM GOD. We are not part of your type ANOINTING, we only associate with Religious ANOINTING as that is DIVINE. Thank you once more for joining TONY OBUH as we make it a reality WE ALL WILL NEVER REGRET WE DID.
