Sitting at the very bottom of my forsaken world; sitting in this wet, sandy prison, alone and going mad. Mad! True. I am being driven to the edge of my sanity. For forty years I have been here, chained to this iron ball, waiting. Why? Why am I here, you ask? A witch-- that is what they called me. A sorcerer of magic, plaguing the small village in which I lived. So they chained me to this ball and tossed me into this lake to die. But I did not die. I cannot die. So am I? Am I this thing they claimed I was? No. In reality I am much worse. And when time wears these chains away, and I can reclaim my life above the surface, I will exact my vengeance.
