ALLOW ME TO EXPRESS MY SENTIMENT: I asked my cousin -in-law to book the Burial Mass for nanay on Thursday, October 30,2014 @ 2;00 P.M. in the Holy Family Parish Church, in the Barangay where nanay resided (Zone 7) and where I and my siblings grew up asta nagpala-mana kag nagpangasawa na kami. She submitted the Death Certificate in the parish office today but told the secretary that the payment of P1,200 will just be given after the mass.But she was quite shocked when the secretary told her nalista niya na pero indi pag e-finalize unless mabayaran na nga daan ang P1,200.(My cousin-in-laws father used to be a Lay minister too). Kay hambal sang secretarya, naakigan na siya kuno ni father nagligad kay may nagpa book dason wala nag ulpot sa simbahan; kay may schedule si father nga iban pero ginprioritize niya ang ngpabook sa simbahan nga wala nag -abot kag wala man nagpa-cancel.....Te para kuno sigurado ang ginahimo nila subong, indi pag- efinalize and schedule kon indi pa mabayaran ang P1,200. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?????????????????????????????????????? PWERTE BAH!!! Amo na gid ni ya subong? Kon wala ka gali inugbayad indi ma mishan inyo patay? Ano kinala-in sini sang tiyempo ni Rizal nga may mga prayle man? When Filipinos had to pay so they can avail of the church sacraments? Give Indulgence for the forgiveness of sins and salvation of souls?Indi sila pag-ilubong sa Catholic Cemetery kon wala nabendisyunan? IM NOT GENERALIZING. Indi tanan nga parokya amo sini, indi tanan nga pari amo ni patakaran. In fact I have priest friends, there are priests I also admire because they have helped me grow in my faith as a Catholic Christian.... I can just give the payment bwas dayon ...Pero ang punto ko, kon ang nalisdan nga pamilya wala pa bi kwarta, kay gahulat pa gani daguro,kay man nalisdan mong, nahul-an pa kay namatyan, indi gali mamisahan sa iya mismo Parokya kay wala inugbayad? THIS IS ADDING INSULT TO INJURY? We understand its for the payment of parish workers, utility, electricity, water, etc. pero amo gid ni ya ka sigurista? TO THE SECRETARY: kilala mo man kami day, you know our family, we were in the same school in elem & high school, classmate ka pa sng manghud ko. Besides,Nanay even gave pledges to the church ( you can verify with our purok representative) kag kada Domingo naga simba man si nanay sang maayo pa pamatyag nya. We grew up in the church and you knew very well I was very active in church activities then kay youth choir kag katekista ko da. IKAW man to gani secretary sang pagka patay ni Tatay ko sang 2010. Tapos misa I gave you the payment in the office, so I thought its still okay to do the same. OH WELL... hambal mo wala ka may mahimo kay gasunod ka lang kay father, kay basi akigan niya naman ka.....just a piece of advise dear, imo na obligasyon mag verify, a few days or at least 1 day before text or call ka (kuhaan mo contact number) para ipa confirm sa natungdan kon sigurado ang schedule nila...para indi ka maakigan ni father. TO THE CURRENT PARISH PRIEST, WITH ALL DUE RESPECT FATHER, WHAT ONE DID DOES NOT NECESSARILY APPLY TO OTHERS. Kon nagsala ang secretarya, siya ya hambalon nga e-improve ang obra nya indi kay naghimo ka ya amo ni nga polisiya?Im sorry but It gives me the impression nga nahadlok ka gid indi mabayaran sang 1,200 father? You are new dira sa parokya namon, ang iloy ko ya 29 anyos na da!..... I am not criticizing your person, Im criticizing your rule! I think this should serve as a wake up call to some priests who might have forgotten the real reason ngaa nag pari sila; TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF GOD . Commentar pa sang isa nga nakabati gina sang ga-estorya kamisa Alisbo:Te sang nag eskwela sila wala mn na sila bayad, libre man kay may sponsor/benefactor sila ; siling pa gid sang isa (non-Catholic) ngaa garantiya gid na nga kon magbayad ka 1,200 mapa langit ang kalag sang misahan mo? Or ipakita lang kay San Pedro ang resibo halin sa parokya? ...Can we blame them for having such comments like this? I was actually amazed in 2012 when went to Taguig City Manila for the interment of my 5 yr. old niece...I was truly surprised to know nga wala bayad ang misa sa patay kay ako man nagpa book sng burial mass kag ang collection sa misa ginhatag pa sang parish priest sa pamilya sang namatyan....Isnt it Surprising? Isnt it Amazing? Kay wala na di ya gakatabo sa Bacolod. Bahala na kamo da kon ano e-comment nyo kutob sa makabasa sini... I AM ENTITLED TO MY OWN THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS.
