[AM Message] Genesis 5:21-24 / Hebrews 11:5-6_ Enoch. In the pattern, the repetition, the flow, the rhythm of the genealogy of Gen 5, Enoch breaks it. Something about WHO he is or HOW he lives his life is different. Enoch believed in the One True God. Enoch walked with God. Enoch set an example. Enoch lived with God. This walking & pleasing was only possible through faith. Enochs walking with God & faithfulness to God was a step towards restoration of the relationship that had been severed by Adam and Eve. Enoch wasnt just hanging around, waiting for heaven... His 300 year faithful walk with God meant serving & loving & living in THIS life. Enochs walk began when he became a Dad. Parenting will change you. Enoch was an example. His great grandson was Noah. Noah was a righteous man (pleasing to God) AND he walked with God. Where did he learn that? Enoch. How is YOUR walk?
