AMAI CARNIVAL UPDATE: It has been formally declared that the 2015 IKENGE FESTIVAI WILL HOLD FROM 06 FEBRUARY 2015 to 08 FEBRUARY 2015.Notably 07 February 2015 has been declared the UKWATA DAY.By implication, the first AMAI CARNIVAL will hold on SUNDAY 08 FEBRUARY 2015(INWU OLIE DAY). We therefore encourage all Amai sons,daughters,friends of Amai and those that are related to Amai either by marriage or other ties to actively participate in this CARNIVAL.We also encourage those that are willing to support the CARNIVAL financially to contact us.We are time constrained as we did not envisage that the IKENGE festival will come up early January 2015. We count on the support of the entire Amai sons,daughters and friends for the success of this great event.We use this medium to call on all of us to come out and showcase our talents, traditional and cultural heritage in dance,song,and other kind of presentations.
