AN ALL INCLUSIVE JOURNEY HAS JUST BEGAN!! Indeed everything that has a beginning has an end. I vividly remember one of my write ups entitled This one too shall pass, the electioneering period is over, it is time for the real work, it is time to deliver on our mandate as student leaders. I would like to use this opportunity to thank the Almighty God for making all of us victorious, I also express my heartfelt gratitude to my campaign team led by Davies K. Kwakye, Kojo Danquah, DB Annan Jnr, Andrews Adjei, Dauda Sidabu, Kafui Degadzor, George Agyekum, Erica Amesewu, Selorm Tracy Dzantor, Deborah K. Y. Amegah, Paul Addah, Felix Plato, Horlali Bobbie, Antwi Sarpong, Maame Ama Dansoa Ofori-Anson, Mariama Zakari & Eva Abugabe, for the sacrifices they have made in making sure we succeeded. I would like to thank the student leadership of University of Ghana & that of RSRC for giving me a massive support. To all the student leaders & students I have come into contact with on this journey, to those who voted for me and those who did not, I say kudos, your prayers & support have made the needed difference. To my contenders, Kofi Asamoah, Michael Paa-quecy Adu, Emmanuel Osei Gyamfi & Wilson Dabuo, I am glad you gave me a run for my money. To all who contested & won, please remember there is more to it than winning an election. To those who contested but were not successful, please this is not a victory for Prosper Dzitse, it is a victory for the students of Ghana, let us all come onboard to make NUGS a Union that will deal with the nagging challenges that confront the Ghanaian student. This is OUR victory, it is not about Prosper, Muhayu-deen, Ruby, Paul, Rhodalyn, Harold, Iris, Rejoice, Daniel or Anthony. It is a victory for the ordinary Ghanaian student. We are ready to work with all who will make service to the Ghanaian student a topmost priority. Bring your ideas onboard & lets pursue our collective interest as students of Ghana.
