AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING! In this season of Thanksgiving, I want to share something that God taught me long ago. It was the single most effective thing I have ever done to renew my mind. I pray it helps some of you too. God told me to take every need, problem or request I had and turn it into a PRAISE report. In other words, I could not come to Him with anything but Praise for the next month. This was during a very difficult time in my life when my needs were many and there were serious problems in my family. I had been praying, more like begging, God for help when He spoke this to me. Needless to say, this was not the answer I was looking for! It was a little difficult at first to find anything good in my life, only because I had been so focused on my problems that I lost sight of all the blessings I had. As my focus changed, I realized that I was abundantly blessed beyond measure! Even though my circumstances had not changed yet, my outlook and mind had! It was amazing! I found myself on my knees thanking God for His loving kindness and I repented of my blindness to His goodness and provision. Instead of seeing my life as a mess, full of problems to overcome, I saw myself as Gods fav kid and everywhere I looked I saw His hand in my life. It is easy to fall into this trap of the enemy. His goal is to keep us focused on what we dont have instead of praising God for what we do have. This hinders our relationship with God and can actually stop us from hearing and receiving from Him. So whatever you are dealing with, whatever problems or needs you have, take a minute and find something in your situation to be grateful for and then tell God how AWESOME He is and how much you love Him! I guarantee you, if you do this consistently, it WILL change your life! Be Blessed!
