SCHOOL FEES ISSUE I wish to use this medium to appreciate the entire students of Kogi State University for your patience and endurance and as well as the confidence you have reposed on us to serve you. I must still reiterate our commitment to serving the entire students that voted us. Without much ado I wish to inform you that the Union has never relented on the battle against school fees increment. On the 7th of July, 2013, the Union in collaboration with the Nakoss body had a meeting with the Governor of Kogi State to discuss on the matter. We still maintained our position to say “NO” to any increment. The Governor declared that those already in school will not be affected as it will start from the freshers. I must tell you at this juncture that the meeting ended in deadlock since the UNION maintained her position of “NO increment”.
