To learn more about ANDY HOTEL..check out andyhotel.net Description: Human Resources Administrative Assistant Human Resources Administrative Assistant Job Purpose: Supports human resources department by screening and interviewing applicants; preparing payroll; orienting new employees; administering employee benefit programs and other administrative work. Human Resources Administrative Assistant Job Duties: • Provides job candidates by screening, interviewing, and testing applicants; notifying existing staff of internal opportunities; maintaining personnel records; obtaining temporary staff from agencies. • Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for benefit programs. • Pays employees / OJTs by calculating pay / allowances; distributing checks; maintaining records. • Maintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time. • Documents human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. • Updates job knowledge by having employees participate in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers. • Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures; promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization; dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures; • Other tasks that may be assigned due to low or no HR work to be done: o Marketing Andy Hotel online or company/travel agency visits o Pick-up/Delivery of billings and payments (very occasional) o Other tasks ( not limited to what is listed above) Skills: • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Flexible and willing to learn • Enjoys working with people and has the ability to work as part of a team • Tactful and diplomatic • Good/Strong administrative skills • Familiar with business software such as Microsoft Office and highly knowledgeable/skillful with the Internet • Understands and values confidentiality • PROFESSIONAL; Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills • Knowledgeable with Compensation and Wage Structure and Benefits Administration • Organized and has the ability to work accurately, with attention to detail • Able to interview, select, hire, orient, and retain Employees / OJTs • Able to Maintain and update Employee Files Qualifications: • Graduate of AB Psychology or BS Psychology • At least 6 months to 1 year working experience • At least 200 hours of On-the-job training in a registered company • Recommendation letter from a teacher, Department Head, or a High-ranking officer of a company
