ANGELS Angels are under our authority: Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation. (Hebrews 1:14) Angels perform a service for the heirs of salvation. Thank God they are there. Some may never see an angels, but whether you so them or not, they are there; and theyre there to benefit you. I guess now is a good of time as ever for me to tell you about an experience that happened to me back in 1977, the same year I graduated from Christ for the Nations Bible College. I was at a lady friends house when her abusive ex-husband showed up at her parents house with two other men banging on the door, like they were going to knock it down. She had gotten her two kids and hid in the bathroom. The banging stopped, so I went outside to see if anyone had seen them. I saw their car backing out of a driveway across the street and I ran up close enough to get the license plate number. When they saw me, they stopped the car and all three of them jumped out brandishing knives. I tried to get back to the house, but one of them knocked me down. I looked up into the faces of three men who said they were going to kill me. I had such a peace and there was no fear in me. Suddenly behind them appeared an angel about eight feet tall. This is so hard to describe.How do you desribe a heavenly spirit being? His face looked just like mine. In Acts 12:15 Peter had been freed from prison by an angel. When he knocked on the door of Marys house, they thought it was Peters angel. Why? Because our guardian angels look like us, at least their faces. This eight foot angel of course was brilliant, I saw him, yet I saw through him too. He had on a white robe that like his total being, it was pure light. He was brandishing a huge golden sword that appeared to be on fire. Next, the lady friends father came out of the house with a shotgun and fired it off. Let me tell you something people, that man didnt save my life, he saved those three mens life, because nothing was going to happen to me with my guardian angel there, and had he not come out, it would have ended in those men losing their lives. GLORY TO GOD! I couldnt stop talking about it for days and still it seems as if it just happened. Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more thing that pertain to this life? (1 Corinthians 6:3) We can clearly see that angels are under our authority to the place that we shall judge them in Heaven. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by His angel unto His servant John. Who bare record of the Word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. (Revelation 1:1,2) Here we see an angel delivered the revelation of things to come. So angels are messengers too! Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of My Father Which is in heaven. (Matthew 18:10) Our angels are ready to work for us at all times. Our confession controls angelic powers Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess Me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth Me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. (Luke 12:8-9) Yes this was said in regards to salvation, but remember that salvation is total, not just saving you from Hell, but saving you from anything you face. Baptism of the Holy Ghost, healing, deliverance meeting our financial needs are all part of salvation. Jesus saved the total man. So when we confess what Gods Word says about us, we are confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ over all of our life! Jesus is the Word. So when you face a situation in life where youre under attack from Satan and you confess Gods Word, speaking the Word with your mouth, saying, Gods Word says, Surely He shall deliver thee (me) from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Then God looks over to your angel and says, you heard him, he is confessing Me before men, Now I command you to go and deliver him, for he has pleased Me by believing and confessing My Word which delights me heart to hear my children have faith in Me and believe Ill do just what I said! And Simon Peter answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven. And I say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:16-19) Let me say this right now and make it very clear. To say Jesus said he was going to build the Church on Peter Himself is complete and proposterous hearsay! This is how false doctrine creeps up, when you take one verse out of the context and build a doctrine around it. The subject of this passage was not Peter. The subject was the confession he made, that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the LIVING God! And it is upon this confession of the Lordship of Jesus that Jesus built His Church, on His Lordship, not on any man, PERIOD! Ephesians didnt say Peter was the Head of the Church which is his body! But having said that lets go on and see what else He said. He said, the gates of hell wouldnt be able to stand against it. This is an offense statement, not defensive. Gates dont unhinge themselves and march against the church; that just ridiculous! It means the Church in on the move, kicking down the gates of hell and freeing those who are held captive and there’s nothing that toothless wonder can do to staop us PERIOD! The word keys means, since the keeper of the keys has the power to open and to shut metaphorically in the NT to denote power and authority of various kinds. Hell is under intense assault by the Church that has all the power to bind Satan and his demons so that they are rendered ineffective, and we have authority over the angels of God to free them to move in the behalf of God,! We are the Chuch Triumphant! Nothing can stand against our advances! We were not ordained to be on the defensive, but instead we are to be of the offense, reeking havoc on Lucifer’s kingdom of darkness! All glory be unto God! For He has done GREAT things! See also: (Matthew 18:18-20) Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice [thy words], and destroy the works of thine hands? (Ecclesiastes 5:6) So we see that the angels listen to and respond to your words. God told Daniel in Daniel 10:12 ...thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. That the communication of thy faith become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. (Philemon 1:6) If you want an effect confession, then it should be on what Gods Word says and not take it lightly, but understand this is how God foreordained for us to operate. IN HIS WORD! Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. (Job 22:28) See also: (Romans 10: 9-10; Isaiah 43:26; Proverbs 23:11; Mark 11:22-24; Jeremiah 1:12; Psalms 5:1) You can see throughout the Word of God that our words will either make us or break us! Its not just a few passages, but all throughout the Word, God has made it clear that things happen as a result of what we say. And what we say should come from God’s Word, not our own intellect, or it won’t work at all, or if it does it will have dire results because of it. The only sure thing that works 110% of the time is the Word of God! If God’s Word could fail, then all life would cease to exist, for all things are held together by His Word. Listen to me Church! Nothing thrills the heart of our Father God more than His hearing His Own children confess His Word! Think about it in the natural. If a father tells his child he is going to do something, and later that child comes up to you and says, Daddy, remember what you said the other day. You tell me that doesnt make that father proud to know his child trusts him and listens to what he says. So it is with our Father Who is in heaven! Just speak the Word only! When you speak the Word the angels listen, take heed, and will move all of heaven and earth to bring you deliverance! Put a watch over your mouth and make your confession of faith effective by acknowledging every GOOD thing that is in you in Christ Jesus! Confess all those GOOD thing God has done for you! When you speak the Word of God on earth, Jesus speaks that Word to your angels in heaven, and He sends them forth to bring it to pass! It is our confession Of Jesus’ Lordship that the Church is built upon, and all of hell fears and trembles when we declare Jesus’ Lordship over a situation in life! It’s becomes the Rhema, the Spoken Creative Word of God that makes tremendous power available, dtnamic in its workings! You are blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, and Jesus is Lord over every area of your lives! GLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORY!!!
