Death On the 4th of May 2014 at 12.05am, Seetahal was assasinated while driving her Volkswagen Touareg SUV in the vicinity of the Woodbrook Youth Club, Port of Spain, Trinidad. Her car was blocked from the front and back and she was shot 5 times. Her family and friends noted that the best tribute to Seetahal would be to find the persons responsible, gather sufficient evidence for a successful prosecution, charge them, prosecute them fairly and to the fullest extent of the law, i.e. with a guilty verdict and a death sentence, all their appeals in the Court of Appeal groundless and rejected in under 5 years, and then enforcement of the death penalty.
