ANGIE - A1006710 @ the Manhattan NY High-Kill Shelter A volunteer writes: Theres no doubt in my mind that Angie was one of the popular girls in school: mellow, friendly, easy, a good listener, and gorgeous, she has that it quality about her that makes her stand out in a crowd. Quiet in her kennel, shes happy to see a volunteer with leash in hand meaning shes next for a walk. Going as soon as shes out the door indicates she may be housetrained, and her leash manners are fabulous. Shes an easy walk, no pulling, keeping pace with her person. Behavior staff came over to tell me how great she is, and I have to agree. Easy mannered, her tail wags gently at everything and everyone. Shes a bit camera shy, so even though she willingly donned a blingy neckpiece, its hard to capture how pretty she is. Her coat is lush and full, her weight perfect for her size, and she comes when I call her to put her head in my lap for some petting. Joining us with her buddy Rex (A1006711) shes every bit as mellow as he is. Acing her behavior evaluation (no surprise!) earned her a place in adoptions along with Rex. Shes looking for a home in which to spend her retirement and she deserves it. Please find room in your heart for our seniors.
