ANNOUNCEMENT: Japanese Government Scholarship For Teacher Training Students Is Now Open POHNPEI, FSM (Embassy of Japan in the FSM, Jan. 15, 2015) — The Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture (MEXT) of Government of Japan offers scholarships to foreign teachers who wish to conduct research on school education at Japanese universities. Applicants must be graduate of universities or teacher training schools and have worked as teachers at elementary or secondary educational institutions or teacher trainings schools for in principle five years in total, as of April 1, 2015. Examination and Interview Date: Saturday, March 14, 2015 Place: Embassy of Japan in Kolonia, Pohnpei (3F Pami Bldg.) Time: the Examination will start at 9:00AM, but we ask that all applicants be at the Embassy at 8:45AM for orientation. 1. English written examination (1 hour) 2.
