ANNUAL CHRISTMAS VISIT Mississippi Veterans Nursing Home Saturday 29 November 2014 at 10:00 AM 120 Veterans Drive Oxford, Mississippi 38655 Were expecting to have another large attendance this year at our annual Christmas visit to the MS Veterans Nursing Home in Oxford. Micki Brown has been working tirelessly since last year, soliciting donations and selecting gifts for these Heroes. Many thanks to one local riding group for a large donation, each of these Heroes will receive a cap representing the US Military Service and War/conflict in which they served. These are premium caps, not the gimme caps, and they will be worn with pride by each of the residents. After discussions with the Nursing Home Staff, Micki has identified other needs which would further honor these Heroes during Christmas and the holidays. Entertainment this year will again be provided by the group SAVING GRACE, many thanks for their willingness to help honor these Heroes ! NOTE CHANGES THIS YEAR: 1) ALL visitors are requested to park in the parking lot in front, at the entrance, and 2) For security reasons, please DO NOT exit the dining room doors on to the patio. Use the front doors only. (Those who have attended in the past will understand the security alarms and the extra work those require of the Staff). Riding a motorcycle to the event IS NOT a requirement, please feel free to arrive safely in the vehicle of your choice. Never attended before ? WE PROMISE, this will be an event you will never forget, it means so much to those residents who have served our country !
