ANONYMOUS WESLACO CITIZEN: Turns out that the Rivera Circus won at the last board meeting.... special session behind closed doors was decided not to re-new Dr. Alejandros contract. This is very disappointing for the kids of Weslaco. Dr. Alejandro is an advocate for student education enrichment via technology. He gets commended by state representatives for the work hes doing in his school district YET personal vendettas by Mr. Rivera and his cronies have hampered progress once again in WESLACO ISD. Want to talk about the RIVERA LEGACY: South Palm Gardens corruption scandal is coming... Mrs. Olivera and Principal Claudia purposely promoted students from freshmen to juniors so that they would skip state assessment exams at the sophomore level....Sr Rivera knew and tried to help cover for Mrs. Olivera and refused to reprimand her, hence what led to his suspension and termination. I saw a new reporter from the EL PASO TIMES last week and I called my contacts in EL PASO TIMES and I was told there is a story coming. I hope the make the state aware that this happened under the RIVERA tenure not Dr Alejandros.
