ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER PLEA FOR HELP FOR A STARVING ANIMAL... We received this email recently: Sorry to bother you but I was just curious about something. I read that Animal Advocates donates money to someone to provide basic care to a pack of wild horses just outside of Lytton. I go over there to feed the horses apples sometimes and saw one today that I havent seen before. She has a baby and is extremely thin. I just wanted to bring it to your attention in case shes ill. Maybe whoever cares for them can check on her? We immediately contacted our rescue colleague in Lytton and asked her to check up on this. Food will be put out for her and her foal as well as all the other horses that weve been feeding in the past in this herd. The first two pictures show the mare and foal; the other pictures show other malnourished horses in the herd that are also benefiting from this compassionate campaign -- a campaign that we are only able to help with thanks to the generosity of our donors.
