ANOTHER FARM MURDER: The Police of Zeerust, North West are searching for three suspects after a 59-year-old farmer was killed and his 54-year-old wife assaulted at Welverdiend Farm near Groot Marico earlier this morning. It is alleged that the suspects entered the victim’s home through the bathroom window. They then shot the sleeping farmer and hit his wife on the forehead with the panga. The suspects took a large amount of cash, a laptop, firearm and fled in the farmers white double-cab bakkie, which was later recovered a few kilometres away from the farm. The farmer died on scene while his wife was transported and treated at a nearby clinic. OFM News
