ANYONE WHO HAS DEALT WITH ONGOING EYE ULCERS PLEASE READ!! I have been dealing with an eye ulcer that wont heal for over a month. I need some ideas to bring to my vet. Anyone have any treatment they have done out of the norm that helped?? History: She was treated for two weeks with triple ophth and serum four times/day. Week three she was switched to chloramphenical and continued serum as well as adding in flubiprofin for pain. Those weeks she was on banamine. Week four a spl line and infu disk was placed with multiple meds in it. She has been on this for two weeks, has had three debridments, is on naproxin and ulcer meds as a preventative. Her next recheck is Monday and Im going to loose my mind if we need to do another week on the pump! We are starting oral doxy this week but Im wondering if anyone has ANYTHING I can take to my vet. Thanks!!
