AP/UPI– September 12th, 2013 – Milwaukee - Milwaukee Brewers Manager Sean Sayrs said today that the current revenue sharing system employed by MLB is unacceptable and gives an absolute unfair monetary advantage to large market teams. In his suit filed in U.S. Federal Court today Sayrs contends MLB has systematically discriminated against small market teams in order to keep larger market teams more viable and more attractive to the average MLB fan, as those larger market teams generate a disproportionately large percentage of revenue for MLB. MLB Commissioner Bud Selig had no comment on the suit. (as usual) Manager Sayrs also apologized for pulling pitcher Marco Estrada so that the Brewers could remain in the running to take sole possession of last place in the NL Central.
