APC IS A PARTY OF DECEIT Those championing the birth of APC were the same people who played different roles in Nigerian politics without any positive result. “The people championing the formation of APC were the same people who were former PDP members who did not have anything to show to Nigerians. Recently Mr. Sheriff also made some remarks which suggested that he believed that APC was not yet mature as a party, base on these facts. The recent meeting of the National Executive Committee, NEC of the All Progressives Congress, APC, turned violent following the threat by a former governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff to beat up a nationalleader of the party, Bola Tinubu.Mr. Sheriff exploded midway into the meeting, raining abuses on Mr. Tinubu and threatening to slap the former Lagos State governor. But for the intervention of the some party leaders attending the meeting, including a former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari and a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, the former Borno Governor, almost made real his threat, Mr. Sheriff is a member of the organ in his capacity as a former governor and a leader of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP, which last year merged with the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Congress for Progressives Change, CPC, and a section of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, to form the APC. APC National Chairman, Bisi Akande, who was presiding over the meeting nominated himself and the National Secretary,Tijjani Tumsah to serve as chairman and secretary respectively of the NationalConvention Committee, NCC, which would also oversee the conduct of thecongresses. “I can tell you authoritatively that the most dangerous and terrible tendency in Yoruba politics is the house of deceit that TINUBU REPRESENTS. And some nitwits will still be following this thief tinubu cheapish like mumu till he pocket all of them. How can one man manipulate the minds of many acclaimed educated idiots this way; wife senator, daughter house member, son-in-law, house of rep, daughter, iyaloja, yet some people can’t see anything wrong with that. If it is jonathan they will spill their bile talking against him and his family. What kind of madness is all this in this mess called Nigeria? the same person advocating for a better Nigeria come 2015 election?? Only family members occupy lucrative positions in Lagos. The APC aims to unseat President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP in 2015. This is a legitimate aspiration, but what does the APC propose to Replace the PDP with, another PDP that is simply wearing a different face mask? To be fair, APC has outlined such priorities as agricultural development, Jobs, free education, adequate power supply, affordable health care, Eradication of poverty and corruption, infrastructural development, rapid Technological advancement and industrialization. While that sounds quite attractive, it is meaningless. Nigerians have heard it all before. Even the military, when they seize power, deploy the same bribes. The question is how the APC intends to pay for it, especially given the ethical, political and moral collapse of the PDP. The problem is that by concentrating on this approach, the APC suggests it seeks only to replace the PDP, not to rise above it. What Nigeria needs is not a politics that replaces a set of overlords with another Self-sanctifying set of overlords, but one that is set up to place the country And its people over any kind of overlords. We need a new politics which will inspire and rebuild Nigeria by deploying Its resources into serving its people and protect that system placing the law above everyone. Pastor Bakare Blasts APC says They Are Bunch of Looters Pastor Tunde Bakare, the founder of the Latter Rain Ministries, has described the newly registered All Progressive Congress (APC) as a conglomerate peopled by a bunch of looters. In an interview Bakare said the characters in the APC could not parade themselves as progressives because of their pedigree and antecedents. According to the former running mate to General Muhammadu Buhari “some of their governors are far richer than their states, because they are looting their states dry.” Tunde Bakare claimed most of the members in this new party are even richer than their states after looting them dry. Asked if he would be running again in any capacity he replied “You are not sure if you will participate in the 2015 elections? “With who? The collection of rogues, right, left and centre” On whether those in the APC, a conglomerate of his former party could be branded progressives Bakare said ” Who are the progressives in Nigeria; mention their names? Are you persuaded that they are progressives, progressive where, taking you where?” According to the firebrand cleric” If the devil becomes a pastor, Nigerians will attend his church, because they don’t know the true church and they cannot distinguish it from the synagogue of satan. Some of these governors are far richer than their states, because they are looting their states dry” APC manifesto, lacked character unnamed leader of the All Progressives Congressgot a contract of N84 billion from the suspended Governor of Central Bank ofNigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido. Theparty said this was one of the reasons why the opposition party was pained whenPresident Goodluck Jonathan suspended the CBN governor. Apart from this, the party also alleged that another leader of the APC got another N5billion consultancy contract while Sanusi was in office. Who is deceiving who? The devil knows better than the one we just know. The young ones you thought you knew are no longer the same. They now hold leaders to the highest level of accountability” “The leadership that will serve above self is NOT yet in your party manifesto”APC. “Structural problems require structural solutions. Changing acronyms don’t solve the problem”.APC is not a solution to Nigeria problem. To be continuing….. From DAVID E BUSAYO Budav4fem@gmail 07064664519
