APC plans salvation rallies in Lagos, Kano FOLLOWING what was regarded as the success of the Abuja Salvation Rally held last Wednesday, leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were said to have concluded plans to hold similar rallies in Lagos and Kano. The Lagos and Kano rallies, according to sources close to the party, are to hold this week. A source said that while the rally in Lagos is being planned for Tuesday, the one in Kano is being planned for Thursday. It was gathered that the rallies are part of the sensitisation drives already scheduled by the APC in its bid to outwit the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 general election. “Leaders of our party have concluded plans to hold salvation rallies in the two most populous cities of Lagos and Kano. The rallies will hold this week and it appears all is set. The two rallies are to further pummel the PDP and expose their wrong doings. This is part of the many road shows we have planned before the 2015 elections,” a source said at the weekend. The APC had staged a similar rally in Abuja where its members moved from Eagle Square to the Nigeria Police headquarters.
