APPEAL: We need your help to trace the occupants of a vehicle who drove round Uttoxeter and threw eggs at people on Saturday night. (28 June) We were called to the Dapple Grey pub on Dovefields retail park just after 8.30pm on Saturday after a woman sitting in the beer garden was egged. She sustained minor cuts to her wrist but did not require hospital treatment. During the evening officers on patrol in the area were approached by people who reported occupants of a vehicle, described as a silver Ford Focus, driving around the town throwing eggs. This was a completely mindless act and caused a great deal of upset to those who were egged. Such anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. We want to hear from anyone who saw this vehicle, and its occupants, in and around the town on Saturday night.
