APPLE: Five Reasons Why iOS 8 Will Be Great #Apple Apple has just announced its latest innovations - a new, bigger breed of the iPhone with an incredible pixel density, strong 3D hardware and an overall better configuration, and a new version of its own mobile operating system, iOS 8, to be released very soon. The beta version of the operating system has been available for some time now, offering developers and enthusiasts the chance to take a peek on what the new version will offer. Lets see why they love the new iOS, and what you will like (or hate) about it once it is released.1. Predictive text inputThis feature will probably be loved by many (but for me, it is a pain in the rear :) ) - Apples new OS will be able to predict what users are typing, showing a short list of words above the keyboard which the user is likely to want to use. This can make texting much faster, especially because QuickType - the name of the technology - will be able to learn your texting habits in time. 2. Third party keyboardsThe ability to install keyboard software developed by third parties will surely make the transition of Android users to the iPhone much easier. Users will be able to replace QuickType with the keyboard of their choice - like Swype, for example - to communicate faster in the ways they are used to.3. Siri will get smarterIn the time since her first day at Apple, Siri has become much smarter. For starters, she will respond to you without the need of holding down a button - all you have to say is Hey Siri!, and she will respond. Apple has partnered with Shazam to give Siri noise recognition powers as well, plus the virtual assistant will also be able to understand you in 22 languages.4. Wi-Fi callingThe new version of the iOS will soon offer all its users the possibility to initiate and receive calls over Wi-Fi, without the need to use any mobile networks. This feature - similar to the one in iMessage, that allows text messages to be sent over the network between iPhones - will be available for US based T-Mobile customers at first, but will surely spread around other networks and countries in no time.5. Replying to texts without the need to open iMessageUsers will be notified of an incoming text or iMessage by a banner on the top of the screen, just like in the previous versions. But here is something new - to reply to the message, users will only need to swipe down on the banner, revealing a text box that will allow them to type a reply directly. The same feature will be enabled for third-party services like Twitter, Facebook and others. I cant wait to try some of the new features offered by the new iOS, as well as the first Apple tablet released with the new and improved Retina display and iOS 8. Who knows, maybe the games at the majortomcasino will finally run seamlessly on this one... :) Read more: mytechlogy/IT-blogs/5197/apple-five-reasons-why-ios-8-will-be-great/
