APRONS: PART 2 well thank you all for all the responses i have learned from today I have seen all types of wonderful examples and the heart warming stories of making/sharing between friends and families at holiday time, shopping for folks was just becoming too much...for all the same reasons so many feel every year and i now feel i can actually give from the heart vs the pocketbook mix and match, all different styles for male/female, young and old; be it for the kitchen, garage, garden or craft: including upcycling of all different materials where possible.....and for my friends who do not wear one now, hang it in the garage / one day you may have to put oil in your car and will be glad its there :) and think of all the patterns/colors/practice i will get in for the next quilt! in the next few weeks i will post patterns/tutorials/ideas to hopefully give inspiration to those that need it like you all gave me today thank you all for your time and consideration btw - Tie One On Day™ – November 26, 2014 Give from the heart on Wednesday – then give thanks on Thursday. This Thanksgiving Eve, Tie One On (an apron of course!) and bring joy to the life of someone in need. Participation is easy and uplifting. Simply wrap a loaf of bread or baked good in an apron and tuck an encouraging note or prayer into the pocket; then present your offering to a neighbor, friend or person in your community who could benefit from your gesture of kindness. Tie One On – and put the “give” back into Thanksgiving.
