ARAB IDOLS MOHAMMED ASSAF. Incredible phenomenom : محمد عساف Mohammed Assaf, 25 years old, was born in a Palestian Camp in Rafah, #Gaza Strip. A singer, he decided to attend the #ArabIdol contest and, after weeks of improvements, won the 2013 Edition. 100 millions people watched him on #MBC1 channel live from Beirut (a Saudi own, Dubaï run free to air satellite television). 25 millions sent an SMS to support him. His victory gave back pride to the entire arab world, and especially to the people of Gaza. During the war in 2014, he decided to stop singing and supported his people. Now, he is back on track.
