Tony is back from theatre. His bloods the last 24 hours have indicated an infection. The consultant has just been to see us and he said the infection was in his big toe so he has taken the end off along with some toe nails. He said his toes need more work but because he hadnt discussed it with Tony he has only tidied them up and wil do more when Tony is next in theatre. He removed some more dead tissue from his leg and has fitted the vac dressing but said that he is quite happy today with how things are going. He wasnt too optimistic this morning and chose his words very carefully but was much happier when he has just been. :) x
