ARE WE PAYING ATTENTION? It is so fascinating to me to see a little child, still in diapers, at times take their mothers or daddys face in the childs hands, and deliberately turn the parents face toward theirs, to get full attention! Mosie Lister, in his beautiful song, Where No One Stands Alone has a petition to the Lord, Dont hide your face from me. Well, He wont, but the important question is, Are we paying attention to Him? Isnt it so easy for us to become distracted, and need to renew our focus on Him, His purpose, and the things that He has for us to meditate on and do for Him? Maybe even now, He is making an effort to get us to break our preoccupation with other things, and lift our eyes to Him and His word.
