ARE YOU FROM THE SOUTH-EAST?: Can any group or business prosper without a leader? Not even our various religions, homes, schools and churches. The consequence of not having a leader is catastrophic. From lack of representation to misrepresentation. Then, what is the problem with southeast? Is it lack of educated & intelligent elites? No, I dont think so. The Igbos remain the only entity without a true leader. Please do not argue. Gone are the days we had our leaders. What we do have now if any are merchandise leaders. They can be bought and can be sold. Our so-called leaders have been monetized that they trade our collective good for pea-nuts and cakes. It is time we raise one but first we must put our sentiments aside. Not leaders who will sell us out for a plot of land in Maitama nor convert us from our religion to another for cheap gains but one that could resist all plots & threats and still protect our interest. The ones we have right now are not worthy enough. Going by what happened last year @ the national mosque, hmm! We are finished if nothing is done to checkmate it. Our merchandize leaders have been turned to Bureau de change our interest have become a bargaining chip. And they now convert our rights to any political currency available. Until we have that opportunity to put things right, we may still be lagging behind. May God rescue Us and raise for us leaders of the calibar of Moses, Aaron and Joshua.
