ARE YOU STRUGGLING? The name Israel literally means he struggles with GOD. He was born Jacob, meaning deceiver - grabbing the heel of his brother Esau, a portent of things to come: Grabbing his brothers birthright and blessings, then he encountered his uncle Laban, who manipulated & deceived him in turn. In the latter stage of his life, he grabbed again, but this time it was a new role of grabbing - he grabbed on to GOD & wouldnt let go of GOD. He realized his dependence on GOD was what he needed to do, for that relationship with GOD was so essential to his life. Finally, it was GOD who grabbed a firm hold on him- every plan, every desire now placed before GOD for approval! Have you placed your every dream, plan agenda before GOD, laid on Gods altar? Have a God-blessed day.
