ARGUMENTUM AD MISERICORDIAM A fallacy in which someone tries to win support for an argument or idea by exploiting his or her opponents feelings of pity or guilt. It is a specific kind of appeal to emotion. Trying to win peoples symphaty just to win an argument or just to appear as the victim or the meek sheep is such a miserable practice. Okay, let all your friends be your shield. But be man enough! Dont just speak out loud when you find yourself in the middle of them. Make your own stand!
