ARMY ORGANISES VETERINARY TRAINING CADRE AT MENDHAR Jammu : 24 Aug 2013 A Veterinary Training Cadre organised by the Barasingha Battalion under the aegis of Krishnaghati Brigade, for the unemployed youth hailing from backward border areas of Mendhar Tehsil was culminated at village Tain, today. The cadre was conducted as part of the ongoing Operation Sadbhavana from 19 to 24 August 2013. The aim of providing veterinary training and services to the remotely located villages along the border, where proper veterinary services cannot reach. The Commander, Krishnaghati Brigade, presided over the function, reiterated the Army’s commitment towards ensuring peace, tranquility and prosperity in the areas and urged the local populace for more mutual interaction and exchange of ideas towards achieving the same. Veterinary Training Cadre offered veterinary training and service for all type of cattle and also included distribution of medicines to the needy. The assistance and endeavours of Krishnaghati Brigade towards ensuring better medical and health services of cattle, in such remote and far flung areas was greatly appreciated by everyone.
