AROUND CALBAYOG CITY: December holidays are also a season for fruits! Downtown Calbayog will have our eyes feast on fruit paradise as sidewalks of Nijaga Park along Gomez and Gelera Streets as well as the sides of Orquin Street are lined with fruit stalls. Thanks to the city government for allowing and providing such areas to fruit vendors at this time of the year to accomodate the buying populace when everyone else believes that having fruits on the table during the celebrations for the New Year brings abundance to the family. Tending such a caravan provides ease both to the vendors and buyers.
