ARTIST PROFILE: Tina Mitchell has trained extensively with the SITI Company in New York as well as with the Suzuki Company of Toga in Japan. A graduate of the Adelaide Centre for the Arts she co-founded Australian independent theatre company Chopt Logic. As a performer her credits include: Miss Julia (Iberoamericano Festival, Bogota), Macbeth & The Taming of the Shrew (Southwest Shakespeare), Sleep No More (Punchdrunk NYC), Ann Hamilton-The Event of a Thread (SITI Company/Park Avenue Armory), The Taming of the Shrew (US Tour), Cyrano de Bergerac (US Tour), Harry’s Christmas (Chopt Logic) systems/layers (SITI Company workshop presentation, New York), When The Rain Stops Falling (Stella Adler, New York), Manon/Sandra (The Theory of Everything UK/New York Fringe), The Three Sisters (Columbia University New York) Painted Bird/Bastard (Palissimo, La Mama New York), Café Candide (Collision Productions, NYC), Voices in My Head (solo devised piece, Adelaide Fringe), The Bruised Hearts Travelling Freak Show, The Most Massive Woman Wins, The Maids, Amadeus, A Midsummer Nights Dream, all for Chopt Logic (Australian Festival for Young People, Darwin Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Barossa International Music Festival), The Bridge (Hanyong Theatre, South Korea), The Glass Menagerie (Bakehouse Theatre).
