AS promised.....Leeanne writes....and please read all of it....from the heart...as always.... Emily has had a lovely day, continuing to settle with her new chums and growing in confidence. Whilst it is too early to say, I feel I can say that the meds are taking affect, she is bleeding less and appears a little more comfortable. Bless so many of you for your love and thoughts and those who are offering and sending funding support. All your pennies make all the difference to all the Twilighters, and I promise to tell you if we ever need anything extra over and above the basic meds and food. Emily needs to gain weight.. She is getting all she needs thanks to your care, and she now just needs time and love, everything Mike and I have to offer in bucket loads. We appreciate this story has raised blood pressures. But the bottom line is that Emily is one of the lucky ones. The universe worked for her, a young man walked purely by chance and found her. He didnt follow the rules and take her to the Mairie, he looked us up. As it was out of hours, we took her in and followed up after .... And now she is safely a Twilighter. The former owner has moved on. We may not rate him as a moral soul, but we believe in what goes around comes around. It is for the universe to deal with him. For Mike and I our energy is about the dogs, and in this case Emily. It is our life way of living, there is no point in negative energy. Lets feed the positive of this situation. Let us all turn Emilys dark days past into light. We have been involved in court cases that to be honest have been much worse. They take time, energy, money and are dispiriting as they rarely achieve anything tangible. We like to be honest with you with the stories of the Twilighters. Some touch more nerves than others. How can you help us, just be there, send your love ... Send your blankets so that when 7 of them mess on one tonight I dont have to stress about putting another one down. Save your coppers, as today I was able to buy disinfectant and large bin liners from your brown stuff. Help keep us in vets needs and food .... And above all, keep loving your puddings and helping all the rescues that touch you. Today I attended a friends funeral. A battle lost to 6.5 years of cancer. A remarkable woman who lived her life to the very end with dignity. Her husband summed it all up ... There is only love that matters ... Everything else is unimportant. When Mike and I tried for children, it was because we felt we had so much love to share. Our children didnt materialise as humans, but with fur and more legs .... We love as many as we can in our humble home, and we can do so thanks to all your support. We are not taking this further. The man knows he is rumbled for his actions ... He has to live with it ... Whether this life time or another it will come back on him I am sure. Please, let us support Emily, her now wagging tail and her forgiving eyes. Let our positive action breed positive behaviour.
