ASI entrusted with restoration of Kedarnath temple Jul 3 Culture Minister Mrs Chandresh Kumari Katoch has said the government is attaching top priority for restoration of the Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand, which was damaged due to recent floods. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, she said all out efforts will be made to bring back the original glory of the 11th century temple. She said her ministry is awaiting clearance from the state government. The Minister said the Archealogical Survey of India (ASI) has been entrusted to restore the temple to its original shape.
