ASSU VS. FEDERAL GOVT. The imbroglio between Federal govt and ASSU is long over-due 4 amicable settlement if both sides are spiritually honest. The federal govt should appeal to all federal legistors - SENATE & REPS. to shed their weight by foregoing ALL ALLOWANCES ACCRUED TO THEM 4 ONLY ONE YR. WHILE D EXECUTIVE ARM DO SAME THING STARTING FROM GEJ HIMSELF AS A SACRIFICE, the federal government will have sufficiant money to deal with ASSU problems finally and the poor suffering students will resume classes @ their Universities. ASSU strugle with past federal governments is as old as my age 2-day but the products of these schools will be our future leaders of to-morrow as d present crop of our legislators. Treat d lecturers very well and we all will see the result. The issue of half-baked graduates in our Universities will stop. I honestly appeal to both combartants to show honesty & sincerety of purpose for th benefit of our Nation. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
