ASSU presents a screening of the acclaimed film Ivory Tower, a provocative documentary that looks at the state of post secondary education in the United States; student debt and the corporatization of education and asks is college worth the cost? The film will be followed by a panel that will discuss post secondary education and its future in Canada and the United States. Siting on the panel will be: - Two student organizers from Free Cooper Union (this movement is featured in the film) - Former ASSE spokesperson and activist, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois - UTFA President Scott Prudham - And former GSU Civics and Environment Commissioner, Ashleigh Ingle.
