Pets do not have the luxury of time. If you see a pet you like, act NOW. ★ SHELTER CONTACT: 252-459-9855 [email protected] ★ HOURS: Always Open 1-4 PM Mon-Fri (except for holidays). For AM, call for appointment, due to staff availability. Closed 11:30 AM - 1 PM. St (from Washington St.), NOT South on 58. ★ ADOPTION: Adoption fee ONLY $20 for spay/neutered pets (fixed) or $50 for those needing spay/neutered (refunded upon proof of spay/neutering in a timely manner), but does not include anything such as rabies or other immunizations nor spay/neuter. Around 3,000 pets per year arrives at the local county Animal Control facility. About half are adoptable and we will promote. However, with only 16 dog kennels and 5 cat cages, the Shelter fills quickly and we have a very short time to save them. Any Available must leave ASAP!
