ATLANTA GA AREA: HESS DOGS NEED A HOME. CONTACT Kerri at 770 896 1515 or Email; kerriklopfenstein@gmail VILLA RICA GA, 25 miles west of Atlanta, Hess dogs, Mom and Son need a home. They were physically pushed out of a truck at a HESS gas station in Villa Rica GA. A good Samaritan watched this happening around Christmas 2013 and vowed to rescue these dogs. After a month of coming out to feed them every day, she got them to walk, without leashes the two miles to her home and inside of her house with the help of local people involved in this rescue. Several months have passed and these dogs now walk nicely on leashes, have been spayed and neutered, gotten all their shots and are ready to go to a home together. Mom is 3 and son is 1.5 estimated. They hang out in the home. They sleep next to the rescuer at night. But they havent been friendly to their two personal dogs so they are kept away. Possibly a dog savvy owner could integrate with other dogs. They interact well with humans. It took days to collar them and days to leash train them but now they know what the leashes mean. They love to sit outside with their people. They love to be touched. They love their bellies rubbed and Papa (the son) loves his toys. I can take them away from him with no problem. They are not food or water aggressive. I can touch their food while they eat. I supervise them with bones though. But Mama is in charge. They have a deep bond. Papa has an understanding soul. Hes terribly intelligent and needs his brain worked. Thank you so much!!
