ATOS PRAYER FLAGS Vince Laws is a poet, artist and campaigner. Id like to help create a memorial to the thousands of people who have died or suffered at the hands of Atos, and the Government, myself included. Id like there to be a record of all those names, the 10,000+ who have died after being declared Fit To Work. Im going to create bunting, a bit like Tibetan Prayer Flags. The idea is that anyone can send me a square/oblong/triangle of fabric, maximum size A4, i.e. a normal sheet of writing paper… minimum size A6 i.e. post card size…. decorate the flag with the persons name… and any words you like… in stitches, appliqué, stuck on felt, whatever works... or send a message of hope and support on a flag. If you are not arty/crafty, dont worry, send me the details you want on your flag, and Ill do my best to get a flag made for you. If you are arty/crafty you might life to volunteer to make prayer Flags for other people. This is for people of all religions, or none. I hope to fly the first ATOS PRAYER FLAGS at Dandfest! in Norwich launching on April 28 2014. After that the bunting will be available for events all over the country, as finances allow. Any suggestions, or support, most welcome. Please post this far and wide and let others know. Please note that I deal with depression, anxiety, and fatigue myself, so please, no nasty or angry message - direct that elsewhere. Lets try to create a kinder world where no one is forgotten.
